Today, we officially launch the North Coast Sport Centre fundraising campaign. This is a moment we have been building toward for a long time — and the beginning of something we believe can change the North Coast forever.
The North Coast Sport Centre will be a world-class, community-driven sports facility in Umhlali, KwaZulu-Natal. It will serve schools, clubs, families, and under-resourced communities across the region — connecting children from Ballito and Shakaskraal on the same field, under the same lights, in the same game.
Why Now
The North Coast is growing rapidly. The gap between communities is not. We believe there is a moment right now — a real window — to build something that addresses that gap permanently, through sport.
Our fundraising target is $1,100,000 — approximately R20 million — to acquire land, construct an astro turf playing surface, and build supporting facilities. All funds are managed by the Rise Sports Foundation.
